A poem for lena - By Steve

Thanks to Steve for sending me this wonderful poem obviously from the heart.  Thank you so much for sharing this with us all.

Looking back to my childhood, I watched a small girl,

Full of life and happiness  and magic,

She made me forget, she made me smile,

It’s a shame her life was so tragic.

I watched her on tv all of the time,

Her smile it just lit up the screen,

She had something special no-one else had,

And a  talent I had never seen.

My life isn’t the same now Lena has gone,

Even though I still watch her today,

My memories are here, still in my head,

And These will never go away

So goodnight and god bless,

You will always be special to me,

Your smile, your laughter your talent never gone,

But your spirit has now been set free.
