| “Lena” A Tribute Song by Jimmy Scott. Jimmy Scott is a professional songwriter whose songs have been recorded by many well known artists including Bonnie Raitt, Cher, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles and Chicago. In 2009 he released a solo CD called “A Songwriter’s Notebook.” Quite a few of the songs on the album are tributes – to music and some of the great artists who have made it, to lost loved ones and even one song about a very faithful and famous dog named Hachiko ! One of the most poignant and heartfelt songs on the album is “Lena” his tribute to Lena Zavaroni.
